2. BBC
I think that the BBC could be a great distributor of my media product as they have a
variety of different programmes which in conclusion attracts a variety of different
audiences. Also they have a number of great and successful drama’s/soaps such as
“eastenders and Holby city”. Therefore I think my media product could easily be made
into a drama and fit in this category as I believe it has a great storyline.

3. Paramount
I believe that Paramount could be a main distributor of my media product as they
have a variety of films which is quite similar to my story line such as “mean girls”.
Paramount distributed “mean girls” very well as in its opening weekend it grossed:
$86,049,418 (in the first week in USA Only) from a budget of $17,000,000. This shows
that Paramount had already made a huge profit in the first week of release which
shows that they distributed the product efficiently and effectively.

4. However One could argue that Our media product was low budget it wouldn’t be fit for
cinematic or international screenings or have big distributors such as Fox Studios or
Warner bros, also the filming locations, mis-en-scene and equipment are not
professional/industry standard however the media product would be suitable to
websites such as You Tube or even Facebook in order to get recognised, which could
then lead to better equipment and filming strategies in order for big, cinematic release.
