COHORT 1 AT LCWU
In April, 2019 Center for Global Innovators in collaboration with Lahore
College for Women University, conducted 4 Modules at LCWU Per
Module, two sessions were conducted per week
Module-07
“Module-7 "Business Model Validation“
Business model is the heart of every business but instead of just
developing business model startups business model requires proper
validation before being operational because its the most crucial part of
starting a business .Furthermore, it was defined in 3 steps of validation
i.e. how will your startup create value & how will your startup capture
value.
Module-8
"Marketing & Sales”
This session was conducted by Prof. Rizwan Saleem From Virtual
University of Pakistan. Startup goal needs to be gaining the attention of
customers so that they can sell their products or services. Too many
startups waste time trying to make their business perfect, instead of
pushing their offering into the marketplace to make money and gain
valuable feedback. What customers want to know is how your product or
service will bring value to their life. Customers have problems that need
to be solved and your business needs to be their solution
Module-9 “
Admin & Finance“
Module admin & Finance was conducted by Prof.
Muhammad Kamran Program manager at Lahore College from Women
University .Admin and Finance are as important for the startup as for
the normal business but with less range because startups are at very
initial stage and they don’t need much expertise in this. Startup core
team needs to focus on developing product & services, building
partnership and earning revenues. Startup internal source should be
focused on core competencies, not on side tasks. As startups grow it
bring new challenges for Co-Founders. That is why, Co-Founders need
to develop people & management skills over the startup lifecycle.
Module-10
