Develop Your Entrepreneurial Mindset
EMLYON Business School is recognised as the
European frontrunner in the field of entrepreneurship,
and this has a strong impact on the International MBA
programme. The capacity to identify, evaluate, and
exploit opportunities, take initiatives and get things
done is what will make you a successful leader in
tomorrow’s global business environment. This is valid
whether you plan to work as a high-level manager
within an existing company or are planning to set up
your own.
Throughout this programme, you will not only learn
how to identify business opportunities but also acquire
the competencies you need to exploit them profitably.
Acquire the Capacity for Global Success
As a participant in the International MBA programme,
you will benefit from studying, living, and working
with professionals from around the globe, thus
enhancing your ability to work with and lead
international and intercultural teams.
To optimise the experiential learning methods
implemented at EMLYON, a diverse group of
participant profiles and backgrounds is necessary.
The selection process for International MBA
participants ensures that the cohort is both
demographically and professionally diverse.
To enhance your international experience even further,
you will be confronted with global issues by a select
group of international faculty members via courses
offered during the year.
This highly international environment will help you
acquire the capacity for success in a global setting.
It all starts with the Bootcamp from day 1
No formal presentation, conference, classroom. Your first days at EMLYON will be dedicated to working in teams on a Business
Strategy Game – an American reference used by Tilburg University, Berkeley University, Purdue University, Mc Graw Hill, and
INSEAD. A direct call to action to immerse yourself with your cohort and professors.
“I chose the MBA at EMLYON for one
reason: the focus on entrepreneurship
and I really wasn’t disappointed.”

THE ENTREPRENEURIAL
LEADERSHIP PROJECT
Develop leadership skills competencies
through action
Research proves that developing leadership capabilities
through complex, competency-based project
experiences greatly increases the chance that new
learning will be applied and sustained.
In line with the programme, you are required to
undertake an Entrepreneurial Leadership Project
(ELP).
The ELP places participants into a real project with
an enterprise. The International MBA team identifies
potential project sponsors in companies, start-ups,
associations, government, and non government
organisations. Each project places participants in a
situation in which they are responsible for gathering
support and resources to transform the project into
reality. Projects can include the development of new
products or services, new market opportunities and
entry, as well as innovative process improvements.
In short, the project puts the entrepreneurial spirit
at the center of numerous types of organisations.
Each project is coached by a member of the faculty,
whose role is to help the team deliver its project. The
faculty coach guides the team towards a solution,
accelerating the entrepreneurial learning process.
This is a learning development opportunity not to be
missed.
