The FT Search Manager allows users to quickly search Notes databases, chats, file systems, and more simultaneously from various access points. It provides an easy way to navigate large amounts of data accumulated in Notes environments. Users can perform searches from the Notes client, mail files, search database or other sources. Administrators have full control over searches and results can be customized, re-sorted, and exported in multiple formats.

1. The FT Search Manager is a fast, multi-threaded Notes & Web search tool that allows users to
search Notes databases, Chats or File Systems simultaneously. The Search database can be
installed on a server, and/or used locally.
This provides easy navigation through the vast amounts of data that can accumulate in a Notes
environment over time.
You can search any Notes/Domino database, including Mail, Archives, Journals, Chats, Websites,
Custom Notes Applications, Document Repositories, Discussions, Domain Indexes and Quickr.
The databases being searched can be anywhere. You can search using the Notes Client, iNotes,
Browser, Tablet, Smartphone or Web Service.
You can also search Server-based or local File Systems (doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, vsd, pdf,
odt, odp, ods, txt, htm and html) at the same time as Notes sources.
Power Users can perform Discovery/Compliance searches across thousands of databases at the
same time, then select/process results according to your own requirements, e.g. copy selected
results to another database, or export results to HTML, PDF or PST.
Users can start searches from the Notes Client, Mail File, Search database, or any other
database, using Integrated Mail functionality, Actions, Toolbar Icons, URLs, Frames/iFrames, Web
Services or Dialogboxes.
