Thomson, Morris and Spencer have chosen the plot
outline for this film extremely well, all issues have
carefully been addressed as the topics included are
sensitive and relatable to many people. Camera quality
and editing is also remarkable and helps to enhance the
characters’ emotions, allowing the audience to have a
clearer understanding and makes them feel more
involved in the film.

‘Jade’ has
hit the roof. Within seconds of the film
starting the audience is instantly taken by
Jade’s (Anita Brahimi) situation as their
hearts pour out to her trapped identity. Not
only is the audience drawn to Jade’s secret,
it isn’t long before we are dragged into
more secrets and lies of Jade’s past as the
truth slowly unfolds. Emotions run high as
Jade experiences a traumaticdeath in the
family and her life is left feeling empty. The
audience is left speechless as secrets and
lies unfold one after another.
Credit has to be given for the choice of

‘Jade’ is a truly emotional moving film that definitely deserves a
watch. Credit must be given to Thomson for creating such a heart
breaking film that addresses many issues that people struggle
with today, particularly sexuality. It is guaranteed to have an
