2. Gun
This prop is a silenced 9mm pistol that The
Silencer uses to kill his victims. It will look
like a standard gun with the agencies logo
on the grip panel. The gun will have slightly
fresh blood on the butt of the gun as the
Silencer would have used it to finish off his
victims.
Within the sequence, the prop will not be
used for it’s intended purpose, however it
will be shown being cleaned and put away
after a mission by The Silencer as he is
trying to wash away evidence of his hit. The
prop will only be in 2-3 shots maximum as it
is not an essential part of the opening
sequence. This specific prop is important in
explaining the profession of the Silencer
and therefore needs to be shown, however
for the general plot, it is not essential.
3. Laptop
This laptop belongs to the Silencer
and it is the one that he uses to
contact HQ and write up mission
reports. It’s going to be decorated
quite plainly as it is going to be
used in a professional context, with
the screensaver being the agency
logo on a blue background. The
laptop will be in pristine condition.
This will be in use towards the end
of the sequence by The Silencer as
he speaks to Claire. As before, the
prop will only appear in a few shots.
This prop plays a key role in the
narrative as it allows for dialogue to
be delivered between Claire and
the Silencer, however it is not an
important aspect of the plot.
4. Paperwork
This collection of props are mission
reports from previous missions of The
Silencer. They will be stuck around a
map, with long pieces of string going
to each location, as different missions
will be linked to different locations.
The pieces of paper will be slightly
crumpled as they will have been there
for a long time, however they will still
be quite neat.
This prop will not be outright used by
the protagonist as it will be stuck to
the wall. However there will be one
piece of paper that will be handled by
the protagonist. This prop isn’t
important in the plot, however it is
important in establishing the
protagonist’s lifestyle.
5. Map
• This map will be used with the
paperwork on the wall to show the
locations of the Silencer’s previous
hits. It will be surrounded by the
paperwork that has been mentioned
previously. The map will be tattered,
with rips and holes from previous
missions. The corners will be slightly
ripped as well.
• The Silencer will not use this prop
outright, however the Silencer will
note the presence of the map in
admiration as he remembers his
mission. At the end of the sequence,
another piece of paperwork will be
added to the map. It is an important
aspect of the plot and helps move
the narrative along. However it’s not
a vital part of the plot.
