8. How to develop Creativity?
1. For fluency of ideas
- Ask them to suggest us many uses of key words, phrases,
structures etc. As they can in various contexts.
- Ask them to think/ write on a topic as much as they can.
2. For curiosity, sensitivity, and sense of
observation
- Use unseen pictures, videos, poems, paragraphs, texts, stories,
oral expression etc. as a reference in your classroom teaching assign
tasks and generate their response.
3. For encouraging new ideas, brainstorming
- Do not criticize ideas while they are being given.
- The wilder the ideas the better.
- The more the merrier.
- Encourage combining on improving upon ideas already given.
9. 4. Encourage imagination through
- Using “ if I were…” “I would/ will/ can” structures in various
situations.
- Providing various poetic language pieces.
- Explaining, illustrating and giving tasks on figures of speech in
poetry.
5. Understanding the importance of creativity to
society
- Writing reports on various inventions.

the world.

others.
