Step by Step for brainstorming: 1) Define your problem or issue as a creative challenge.A badly designed challenge couldlead to lots of ideas which fail to solve your problem. A well designed creative challengegenerates the best ideas to solve your problem
2) Give yourselves a time limit.3) Once thebrainstorming starts, participants shall givesolutions to the problemwhile the facilitatorwrites them down.
4) There must beabsolutely nocriticizing of ideas. Nomatter, howimpossible or how sillyan idea is, it must bewritten down.Laughing is to beencouraged.DO NOT evaluate ideas until the session moves to the evaluation phase.
5) Once your time isup, select a numberideas based onnumber of criteria. The criteria shall be agreed by all .
6) Give each idea a score of 0 to 5points depending on how well it meets each criterion. Once all of the ideas have been scored for each criterion, add up the scores. 7) The idea with the higher scores will best solve your problem. But you should keep a record of all of your best ideas and their scoresin case your best idea turns out not to be workable.
