EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This internship helped me in getting exposed to the business functions in the real market here
in Dubai.
Hence, this enhanced my following attributes:-
 I was being able to communicate with people of different cultures & languages &
was able to convey my message effectively & clearly.
 Getting strong knowledge and practical insights of Marketing and Sales B-B &
Imports / exports.
 Being more diligent towards the job assigned and was able to come up with
innovative ideas and solutions.
 The decision making and to plan and develop the marketing &operation strategy,
products, services and processes. And to find out the organizations weak point to cure
them and improve in performance.
 I learned to generate the leads which helped in growing the business.
 I also learned the importance of promotion of the product & services in the market.
This was mainly done by online platforms like Facebook & Google ads.
This was the objective of my internship, so that i get used to the working culture in U.A.E
market.

The scope is very huge as they are new in this market & have very huge area to cover in
presence of completion by leading & well known E – Commerce website like Souq.com
etc.
They need to come with up with exciting offers to get recognized in the market.
Try contacting with more & more clients with good deals which are simple & attractive

SENQI FZCo. is a Taiwan based company and have recently begun their operations in Dubai,
with e-commerce platform called www.buyerat.com.
They are also diversifying into Import and Trading of products from Taiwan such as HTC,
ASUS, SEAGATE and LEDs.

engineer and business consultant, the company have been expanding in Taiwan and
Mainland China since 2012, the company was originally founded in 2005 and providing
secure socket layer(SSL) and SEO for our customers in Taiwan. The company has been
developing website for small business to banks within Taiwan and south east Asia. Our
passion is to provide the client with international standard website which offers fast
business growth within the local region of other countries. Our service system provides
our client business case solutions for the industry market growth, value analysis and high
quality function for consumer business.

METHODOLOGY
As this company was new in UAE market, it needed some research to know about this
market & some innovative ideas so that it stands out in the market.
The following methods were taken to tackle this situation:-
 Research was done by collecting data from different stores like Sharaf DG, E Max, E
City, Plug – ins, Jumbo to know the prices & variety they are providing.
 Reaching to the distributors & wholesalers who source for these retailers.
 Developing Marketing Strategies keeping in mind the competition from Souq.com
etc.
 Advertising through online platform like Facebook & Google ads.
 Reaching to different clients & explaining the benefits of online shopping & current
trend in the market.
 Putting more products & giving more variety at much reasonable rates than all others.
 Flashing more features about the website buyerat.com like cash on delivery etc.
 Importing and Trading of products from Taiwan such as HTC, ASUS, SEAGATE and
LEDs. & thus providing these products at much cheaper rates than any other.

ISSUE ANALYSIS
The following issues were faced :-
 Huge competition from existing E – Commerce sites as Souq.com
 Unawareness of our own Site as Buyerat.com in U.A.E market.
 Less Variety as compared to others.
 Confusion & fear in minds of clients to enter into online market.
 Nonnegotiable terms & conditions were put in front by clients.
 Less manpower & resources in the company.

ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATION
According to me, the company should take following steps to overcome the hurdles :-
 They should put more man power more resources if they want to be successful in this
market.
 Advertising & getting their website promotion should be main concerned as they are
new in this market.
 Try more offers & features if they want to attract more clients & customers as the
market is already being ruled by big & well known web sites like souq.com
 As they are directly dealing with products from Taiwan such as HTC, ASUS,
SEAGATE and LEDs, they should focus more on this & try getting more companies
directly as this is the main advantage they have over the others.
 Try contacting with more & more clients with good deals which are simple &
attractive.

The following methods were taken to tackle this situation:-  Research was done by collecting data from different stores like Sharaf DG, E Max, E City, Plug – ins, Jumbo to know the prices & variety they are providing.  Reaching to the distributors & wholesalers who source for these retailers.  Developing Marketing Strategies keeping in mind the competition from Souq.com etc.  Advertising through online platform like Facebook & Google ads.  Reaching to different clients & explaining the benefits of online shopping & current trend in the market.  Putting more products & giving more variety at much reasonable rates than all others.  Flashing more features about the website buyerat.com like cash on delivery etc.  Importing and Trading of products from Taiwan such as HTC, ASUS, SEAGATE and LEDs. & thus providing these products at much cheaper rates than any other.
  • 15. 15 | P a g e ISSUE ANALYSIS The following issues were faced :-  Huge competition from existing E – Commerce sites as Souq.com  Unawareness of our own Site as Buyerat.com in U.A.E market.  Less Variety as compared to others.  Confusion & fear in minds of clients to enter into online market.  Nonnegotiable terms & conditions were put in front by clients.  Less manpower & resources in the company.
  • 16. 16 | P a g e ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATION According to me, the company should take following steps to overcome the hurdles :-  They should put more man power more resources if they want to be successful in this market.  Advertising & getting their website promotion should be main concerned as they are new in this market.  Try more offers & features if they want to attract more clients & customers as the market is already being ruled by big & well known web sites like souq.com  As they are directly dealing with products from Taiwan such as HTC, ASUS, SEAGATE and LEDs, they should focus more on this & try getting more companies directly as this is the main advantage they have over the others.  Try contacting with more & more clients with good deals which are simple & attractive.
