Comes from Latin word ‘Colonia’ meaning
“settlement”, “landed estate”, “farm”
Proper term for a public settlement of Roman
citizens in a hostile or newly conquered country
where they retaining their Roman Citizenship

12. - This is all the process of appropriating, re-writing, encroaching things.
- It is the critical analysis of history from the angle of native people
whose lands encroached by others.
- Histories are always written with a specific pattern that we won’t be able
to look on the minor-narratives. Historical text draws out attention to
meta-narratives only.
- This is the era of Post-truth in which Histories are written in a new way,
those who have lost their values in past, who are defeated by powerful
kings, get value or won in new texts.
- What outsider has done? they have encroach the place and then new
settlement begins but the main thing is who are the first?, Before India or
Bharat what was there?
