My main Duties As Following:
- Monitor both gas lift & ESP wells performance, optimize, troubleshoot, Investigate, diagnose
well problems and propose action requirements (gas lift survey, temperature survey, gas lift valve
change, pump Acid wash….etc).
- Performing and/or witnessing following offshore jobs (Chemical jobs, Perforation, Well logging,
WSO, PLT, RST , CTU and Slick line).
- Prepare and witness artificial lift optimization and troubleshooting programs.
- Prepares daily feedback and prepares the weekly Operations Report.
- Coordinate well test requirements to ensure testing frequency targets are achieved for all wells
track performance on a field basis.
- Well tests {Repeat formation tester (RFT), Step Rate Test( SRT), Gas lift survey (GLS)} witness
and analysis.
- Preparing stimulation, work over, well test, wire line and Electric line programs.
- Design and re-design the gas lift system either manually or using the computer programs.
- Gas lift & ESP wells unloading and kick-off (new, worked over and shut-in wells).
- Use Echo meter to measure fluid level and bottom hole pressure(operating and analysis).

- Qualitative analysis for cement logs in order to control the down hole communication between
formations and well bore and try to solve the problem occurred.
- Use PROSPER program for optimization.
- Open hole well logging qualitative analysis.
- Reviewing wells history to develop a recommendation for the following as required.
- Offshore witness for all wells operations and wells intervention work which are mentioned before
plus gas lift wells troubleshooting to improve its production performance and wells unloading

 Slick line& E-line works
- Gauging, Gas Lift Survey, GL Valve Change and Cleanouts.
- E-Line work – perforation, Re -perforation, PSP, RST…etc.
- Mechanical & chemical WSO (water shut off) , PSP/RST, perforating (Tubing Conveyed
Perforation TCP and through tubing)… etc
- Design the programs, witness job execution, analyze results and then recommend an action plan.
 Well testing
- Review latest well tests and update validated information into Gupco databases.
- Report all well tests and analyze them if match with normal well condition or not for further
action.
- Request wellhead samples for water-cut’s to assist with well-testing validation.
- Update prosper models for wells according to new tests and surveys.
 CTU work
- CTU Scale mechanical removal either milling or Hydra blast.
- Chemical stimulations to remove any formation damage and increase the well productivity.
- Acid, xylene, fresh water, mutual solvent.
- CTU Logging and perforation.
 Well Integrity Work
- I worked as a member of the team who responsible for reviewing, updating and modifying the
well integrity policy in the Company.
- Polices (knowledge, application, dispensation and recommend actions to back to policies)
- Wellhead tree, SSSV, and header (production, test and injection gas/water) valves checks
- Monitor and recommend repairs (X-Tree, SSSV) that help to keep operation in safe conditions.
- Tubing/Annulus Communication.
- Monitor, encourage, recommend repairs (discuss any apparent hazards/take actions as TBG patch,
W/O or shut the well in)
- Use logging tools (as MFCL) on slick line or E-line and analyze the resulting data to check the

- Rig/Vessel Approach Certificates (prepare and recommend any needed repairs/safety issues to
accomplish safe approaching and safely production operations while rig or vessel is working.

General duties
- Coordinates and collaborates with Reservoir Engineering to clearly understand the requirement of
short term/long term Field Surveillance plan. Plans activities, equipment and manpower to
accomplish the data acquisition requirement for reservoir and production surveillance.
- Losses Tracking/Choke model.
- Review daily drilling report; discuss the well encountered problems with the drilling team. Make
sure maintaining the well integrity and achieve the reservoir target (avoid formation damage).
- Prepares daily feedback and prepares the weekly Operations Report. Participates in
recommending the construction of new well, gathering station and offshore production facilities,
and the modification of existing ones.
- Handling any operations with others teams who are involved in these operations that may concern
