FMP idea?
My FMP isa fanzine basedaroundillustrationand
artworkfrom variousindustries.Ialsoplanto talk
about the importance of these two things in
products e.g. books, and how communities rely
on these.
Why have youdecided to makeit? I have decided to make this because I have an
interest in illustration and art, whether it be in
graphic novels, or books with illustration.
What aboutyourproject makesit importantto
you?
What makes my project important to me is that
it’s something I enjoy and am interested in. I
thinkwhat’smostimportant is that a project that
we do issomethingthatwe specificallyinterested
because if we’re not then we won’t be as
motivated to do any work.
Outline someof the initial influences onyour
idea/work and somepotential research targets
(remember, research isn’t justa paperbased
activity)
When doing some initial influence research I
found a large amount of artists and illustrators
fromaround the world such as Aka Akasaka, who
is a Japanese manga artist who’s work has been
featured in various Japanese magazines.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I will want my audience to be interested in my
productbecause they themselves are interested
in art and illustration. I think that aiming my
productto those withinterest in these two areas
is the best idea.
Describe the tone/mood/styleofyourproject
[which productiontechniques/characteristicsare
youemploying?]
I’mnot sure about whattechniquesI will want to
use for my product yet. After doing Research I
will be able to find various techniques I can use.
