2. ABSTRACT
 The vibration table is working as a welding table. In
weld joint it is necessary to create a quality weld to
achieve quality arc weld joint deep penetration of butt
joint is required.
 So the set-up is created to get proper and deep
penetration of weld joint by providing external
vibration on weld table so that weld pool gets better
space to fill groove it results deep penetration and
ultimately quality weld.

 Welding is a fabrication process that joins
materials, usually metals or thermoplastics, with
or without application of heat, pressure and filler
metal.

 There exist three types of vibration welding, and
they depend on the type of motion of the
resonator head during the welding process.
 This motion may be:
• linear vibration
• orbital vibration
• circular vibration

7.  VIBRATION TABLE FOR WELDING
 WORKING MECHANISM:
• An unbalanced vibrator motor placed at the bottom of the table
makes the table to oscillate.
• By adjusting the unbalanced motor; when at stand still, oscillation
can be increased or decreased on finalizing requirement.
• On the other hand if an electric control with frequency inverter is
put to use, changing of vibration frequency even while the Vibrating
Table is in operation is possible.
• All parameters influencing vibration are adjustable according to
norms in bringing out productivity.

welding. So, We can decrease the cost.

By tank and cylinder which are made from welding process, We can transfer fuel and gases from one
place to another place.

In an amusement park peoples were enjoying the rides, once one of that was break down due to the
defected welding in the ride, and many peoples were injured.
•Sad:
A man was died due to the fall down from the stand, while painting the wall from 8th floor. Later, We

•Insufficient heat input and improper joint preparation are the main
causes of incomplete joint penetration.
• The shielding gas mixture and wire diameter can also be a factor.
