The document presents on wireless communication. It discusses that wireless communication transfers information without wires through mediums like radio frequency and infrared. It then provides a brief history of wireless communication and describes common modes like Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, and LiFi. It discusses applications of each including Bluetooth accessories, NFC chips in posters and cards, using WiFi for internet access, and using LiFi in vehicles and traffic lights. The document outlines advantages like mobility and low maintenance but also disadvantages like security and power consumption issues. It concludes that wireless communication is easy to use, a good communication medium, portable, and low maintenance.

3. WHAT IS WIRELESS COMMUNICATION?
One of the medium of communication
that transfer information without any
electrical conductors.
It is used for both long
and short distances.
For example: radio frequency
infrared, laser light etc.
4. HISTORY:
Wireless telephone conversation occurred on June 3, in
1880 using “photo phone” jointly invented by Alexander
graham bell and his assistant Charles sumner
tainter on February 19, 1880
In 1885 T.A Edison used a vibrator magnet for induction
transmission.
In 1888 Edison deployed a system of signaling.
In 1891 Edison obtained the wireless patent.
6. AND ITS APPLICATIONS:
Bluetooth is a method for data communication that
used short range radio links to replace cables
between computers and their connected units.
It is named on Danish king harald Bluetooth and
developed in Scandinavia.
Bluetooth networking transmits data via low power
radio waves. It communicates on a frequency of
2.45 GHz.
8. AND ITS APPLICATIONS:
NFC is a short range high frequency wireless
communication technology that enables the
exchange of data between devices over a
10cm distance.
It allows devices to establish peer-to-peer
radio communications.
9. CONT.
> NFC chips are very small in size, it can be
embedded in the movie and real estate agent posters.
> Health care department.
> NFC will replace car keys, id badges and credit
or debit cards.
> Implementation in food packaging, merchandisers
as well.
10. AND ITS APPLICATIONS:
It is popular over the past few years and it is
wireless local area network.
It is portable computing device to connect
easily to the internet.
Wifi allows to access the internet while on the
move.
It communicates on a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
11. AND ITS APPLICATIONS:
Light fidelity (li-fi) is a bidirectional high-
speed and fully networked wireless
communication technology similar to wi-fi.
It is the fast and cheap wireless
communication.
12. CONT.
> In vehicles and traffic lights.
> Hospitals
> Street lamps
> Chemical industries
> Aircrafts and underwater
13. ADVANTAGES OF WIRELESS
COMMUNICATION:
> Used for both short and long distances.
> Can be used in any conditions like disasters.
> Easy mobility of the devices.
> Low maintenance.
> No additional cost of rewiring.
14. DISADVANTAGES OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION:
> Power consumption.
> Security issues.
> Compatibility issues.
15. FUTURE OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS:
Some improvements to be done:
> Has to be made more secured.
> Eco friendly and non-hazardous ways to be find.
> Speed to be increased.
16. CONCLUSION:
> It is easy to use.
> A good medium of communication.
> No wires and it is portable.
> Low maintenance.
