Approaching your Vendors
1. Spend 30 minutes educating
yourself:
– Google “your-vendor-name
integration”
– Look for links with “API”,
“Developer”, and “Marketplace”
2. Contact your Account Managers
on both sides of the integration.
3. Explain your business drivers and
the workflow(s) that you need.
4. Let them know your timeline (be
realistic!)
5. If you are in a buying situation,
make integration a requirement.

Contact your Account Managers on both sides of the integration. 3. Explain your business drivers and the workflow(s) that you need. 4. Let them know your timeline (be realistic!) 5. If you are in a buying situation, make integration a requirement.
