2. Budget
• Our virtual Budget is £2000.
• Blue Line Studios in Bournemouth could be used as our
Recording Studio With £500 each session, Altogether it
costs £1000.
• With costs of amateur Voice actors each would be £15 each
session.
• We have 7 total Voice actors, which total of £105
• Realistically we can Record in the RSL Live Studio and we
can do voice acting along with Fellow colleagues. As it has
all the equipment and we need which is a microphone and
a sound proof room.
4. Audio Research – Sixth Form
https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music/track/adventure
-Gentle acoustic royalty free music featuring guitar, marimba, glockenspiel
and strings. This track has a nice cheerful mood.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S791v5smewM
This would be our Crowd sound Effects. a simple crowd backing track from
YouTube. The crowd is outside as to correspond with the advert and is from a
YouTube channel That supplies Royalty free sounds for people to use.(We
could not get is as an audio file as it is on youtube)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBtGcBSyaKk
A simple ambient sound of the outdoors, I tried to get a summery morning
type sound as it gives off a vibrant joyful sound. This will be a good way to
attract people to the advert using the sounds. .(We could not get is as an audio
file as it is on youtube)
5. Audio Research – Lower School
- This is the car sound effect used in the
advert. We need a sound effect of a car because
for the Year 7 advert it will start in a car with
the car door opening and closing.
This is the ambient music placed behind the advert.-
We think this song will fit very well for a school advert
and it will give it a happy feeling, this will help the
school give off a good representation and make it look
like an exciting place. By having a happy soundtrack at
the end of the advert it might make the audience
remember how the advert ended which means people
will end up have a good memory of the school.

9. Recce
The second parental place we could record the ad was my car because
one of the ads is set in a car and we wanted the same acoustic sound.
But this comes with a few hazards such as other cars as they could run
into us when we are parked on the road. The other hazard may be the
car as it might have so unknown faults such as a leaking fuel tank and
it could be set a light. Parts in inside the car could be dangers as you
could get your finger stuck in the door of the car.
The RSR studio is a studio placed in Ringwood school. The studio is in
use on week days at 12:55 am to 1:40 pm so we will not be able to use
it then but we can use it out of that time slot. We will have to ask
permission of the head of RSR and Ringwood school. The risks that are
could face uses in recording are small but are still possible. Drinking
will be prohibited inside the studio so we will need to be hydrated
going into as you may get dehydrated and you also spill liquid on the
equipment. We will also have to watch out for wires as they are
parental trip hazard. I also found boxes in the RSR studio and they are
a trip hazard and will need to put out of the way during in recording.
10. Our contingency plan
• This is if any mishaps happens in this
plan.
• If we cannot getenough voice actors we
could use staff and teachers at the school
• If we cannot use the RSL live studio we
must use media equipment and
microphone and be careful to use the video
recording or perhaps use one of our phones.
11. Legal and ethical
Initially we must follow the ASA Broadcasting Codes such as
needing an Introduction to the item being advertised which is done
with our Narration and When advertising items and places the
consideration of child welfare is very important especially when
adverting to ages of 11-12 as we are. The advert can not contain
inappropriate content that may affect a child, such as language
bad behaviour and just setting bad examples. Our advert cannot
contain any misleading content. This means that we can not
advertise any points about our school or sixth form that promote
them in a false and untrue way.
We must use royalty free items within our production such as
music and try to flee from copyright claims
