The JSEC Global Nomads Group chose to address the issue of homelessness in their community. They researched the various causes and effects of homelessness, including mental health issues, drug abuse, poverty, lack of affordable housing, and more. The group decided to support Amos House, a local nonprofit that provides services and housing support to the homeless. The students collected hygiene items like toothpaste, soap, and razors for Amos House clients. They notified Amos House and their school community of the donation drive. Over multiple days, donations started coming in from the JSEC community. Once the deadline was reached, the group had a successful collection of hygiene articles to deliver to Amos House to help the homeless

and helping people who battle with
