2. This is an institutional element to show any viewers the company that was involved in the funding of the film.
3. This is another institutional element, this tells us a viewers that this film was funded by more than one film
company.
4. The institutions involved in the making of the film are show again to show the importance of them,
however this time they are in a comic book title like font which fits with the film as it is about superheroes.
5. The producers name is also shown before the film in the same comic like font and the same size, making him just as
important as the large, extremely well known companies.
6. The film title is the last thing to be shown before the film starts, this makes it stand out and clear that it is the title. It also
stands out due to it being a larger font size and a brighter colour on a black background. The music gets louder as the
tittle appears on screen.
7. The usual and well known universal studios film opening has been adapted here to fit the film better, as the film is
related to gaming, so the logo uses 8-bit imagery.
8. Next in the opening scene is some narrative text, it is in a plain font and colour and it mimics the Star Wars
opening, giving this opening some humour.
9. More narrative on the next part, using the same font as the previous narrative.
10. Institutional element, has big, bold text with a unique font. Background music slowly increases as
image/ text becomes clearer
11. The next image shown is another institutional element, the text is shown in an old fashioned font and Is faded from
one type of gold to another.
12. The next image is also an institutional element, however there is only text and no imagery, this makes the title stand out
more, this also happens because the text is bold and underlined.
13. This text sets the scene of the movie, from this viewers know when the film was set. The text is blues X written in all
capital letters making it grab the viewers attention
14. Unlike the previous text this is written in red and white and consists of more institutional element. The theme of red,
white and blue, could represent either the American flag or more likely the police colours as the film is about
undercover cops.
15. This text again follows the colour scheme and the use of capital letters. However this text is unusual as it has
background text that is slightly unreadable, but it could be a duplicate of the text infringement of it.
16. This text is another institutional element, however this is its first appearance unlike the other ones which were shown
multiple times.
17. Finally the film tittle is shown in a large bold font taking up the majority of the screen, to make sure the viewers know
that this is the title. This also follows the police colour scheme of red and blue making it a consistent theme thought the
intro.
