Our program works to improve and strengthen the
relationships between the students, parents and
teachers in order to make a more cohesive team.
7. THE LESSONS
Each Lesson in Grab The Wheel is designed to
introduce and reinforce specific skills.
Skills are broken down into small, concrete steps,
and come with highly structured and visual
materials to make lessons accessible to a children
of varying abilities and emotional learning needs.

the Lesson, Step-by-Step instructions, a Guided
Lesson and Additional Practice activities to
reinforce and help generalize skills.

15. CREATING A COMMUNITY
We strive to create an active blog featuring
contributions from teachers, parents, scholars, and
anyone with expertise in child development and
social and emotional skill building.
The blog will serve as a hub for updates, tips, and
walkthroughs that help facilitate use and practical
application of the Grab The Wheel Curriculum.
The blog will seek to engage the community in asking
questions and sharing stories about their experiences
applying the curriculum to suit their own needs.
