My philosophy of teaching
Teaching is not always as easy as it seems but if we do it with love we can achieve
great results. I believe that we need to take a lot of time to understand and know our
learners before teach them. So observation is a very valuable stage that we should take
advantage of to create marvelous tasks through it. Analyze the context in which learners are
settled, their backgrounds, likes and dislikes, ways of learning, teacher’s management, etc
helps as to create enjoyable tasks to our learners.
Create a good context is also important for learners to enhance confidence and
security into the classroom. Adaptation is usually an embarrassed process for toddlers and
so the entrance of a new teacher is not always a good moment for them hence, in these
situations they may remind quiet and without saying a word and they may also feel
ashamed and insecure when the new teacher talks to them. So, as teachers we have the
duty of establish a good relationship and mediate with their behaviors and attitude to
increase confidence and participation.
During all their lives they experiment different changes like social, physical, cognitive
and emotional. Understanding these possible changes gives us the chance to manage the
lesson and respond effectively to different problematic situation during the class. I think
learners’ behavior is sometime a bit difficult to manage but it is not impossible. We need to
know how to mediate with children and not to punish them if they do something wrong or
their behavior is not adequate in the class but we can point to inadequate behaviors and
maximize gratification in every lesson.
Arnold Gessell said that learning occur only after the individual was biological ready.
So we cannot force pupils to learn all at the same time because every child has his/her time
to do it. We need to be patient and understand that if we teach something not all learners
remember it the first time but with repetition, games, and routines they will remember a
topic in few classes. I believe that playing, singing, dancing, and reading are powerful tools
to teach pupils at age of four or five when they are completely receptive and so they can
internalize whatever topic we want to teach if we do our classes enjoyable.

Adaptation is usually an embarrassed process for toddlers and so the entrance of a new teacher is not always a good moment for them hence, in these situations they may remind quiet and without saying a word and they may also feel ashamed and insecure when the new teacher talks to them. So, as teachers we have the duty of establish a good relationship and mediate with their behaviors and attitude to increase confidence and participation. During all their lives they experiment different changes like social, physical, cognitive and emotional. Understanding these possible changes gives us the chance to manage the lesson and respond effectively to different problematic situation during the class. I think learners’ behavior is sometime a bit difficult to manage but it is not impossible. We need to know how to mediate with children and not to punish them if they do something wrong or their behavior is not adequate in the class but we can point to inadequate behaviors and maximize gratification in every lesson. Arnold Gessell said that learning occur only after the individual was biological ready. So we cannot force pupils to learn all at the same time because every child has his/her time to do it. We need to be patient and understand that if we teach something not all learners remember it the first time but with repetition, games, and routines they will remember a topic in few classes. I believe that playing, singing, dancing, and reading are powerful tools to teach pupils at age of four or five when they are completely receptive and so they can internalize whatever topic we want to teach if we do our classes enjoyable.
