Studying the History of the English language course
should give students a clear idea of the changes that
have taken place in the English language throughout its
development and help them develop the right scientific
approach to the language
The subject of the English History
course
To understand the current state of the language, its
grammatical forms, its phonetic structure, the structure
of its vocabulary, it is necessary to consider each
phenomenon of the modern language as a well-known
result of a long historical development, as the result of a
number of changes and transformations
The subject of the English History

 Understanding the laws of language development,
the ability to explain them from the standpoint of the
history of the language and the history of the people -

modern English.
