Skonto Būve is one of the leading construction companies in Latvia and plays a significant role in the development of infrastructure on a
national scale.
Skonto Būve performs construction and design works, designs bridges, roads, and building structures, offers architecture design and planning
of a wide range of engineering infrastructure, and provides all services required for the commissioning of objects.
Skonto Būve has been operating in the market since 1995 and during these years we have been able to use our professionalism and
experience to make our contribution to the creation of objects that are important to Latvia and its people. Skonto Būve is also the largest
taxpayer in the construction sector.
The owners of Skonto Būve Ltd. are Latvian businessmen Guntis Rāvis and Ivars Millers.

Scope of the contract: design, construction and commissioning;
Project turnover: 105,7 MEUR
The main aim is to increase rail capacity by constructing second railway
track in section between Skriveri and Krustpils

10. The project included construction of:
• ~57 km of new railway track;
• reconstruction of existing bridges over Aiviekste and
Perse rivers (first railway track);
• construction of new bridges over Aiviekste and Perse
rivers (second railway track),
• reconstruction of stations, stop points and railway
crossings including the extension of existing railway
tracks;
• construction of high-level passenger platforms on
stations: Muldakmens, Aizkraukle, Koknese, Alotene,
Plaviņas, Ozolsala and Krustpils);
• installation of modern microprocessor interlocking
system ;
• construction of power supply system including
installation of 10 kV cable line (48 km) and 0,4 kV
cable line (82 km);
• reconstruction of the existing catenary system at 2
stations: Skriveri and Aizkraukle (approximately 6.5
km).

Scope of the contract: design, construction and commissioning;
Project turnover: 123,4 MEUR
The aim of the project is the transfer of general cargo, Ro-Ro and bulk
terminals of Riga port from the areas of Andrejosta and Eksportosta to
Krievu Island.

13. The project included construction of:
• sand enbankment (for tracks) ~ 65 000 m3;
• geotextile ~ 35 000m2;
• granite ballast ~ 28 000m3;
• rail turnouts – 22 units;
• new railway tracks ~ 12 km;
• drainage system ~ 4.5 km;
• construction and installation of communication devices, signalling
and power supply.

Project implementation period: February 2013 – November 2015.
Scope of the contract: surveying (topographical, geotechnical), design,
construction and commissioning;
The main function or Bolderaja 2 station is to include Krievusala new
harbor terminals in main rail network, thus allowing more freights to be
loaded/unloaded further from Riga city centre.

• Two d=2,4m culverts in Hapaka channel;
• Three span overpass over Daugavgrivas street;
