1. Anna makes a better wife because she
- does not go for money like Sabina
- is not chased by men solely because of beauty
- retains her identity- not trying to impress anyone the way Sabina does
- has a more appropriate career which preserves her woman self better compared to
Sabina
2. Amos makes a better husband because
- he is rich- money guaranteed for everything
- he has name- he can provide protection
- he is handsome- no one will be ashamed to be around him
- he has power- can yield people’s will

1. Anna does not make a better wife because she
- does not know how to manipulate men
- is not as beautiful as Sabina
- does not know how to impress others
- infamous career
2. Amos does not make a better husband because
- his money can’t guarantee happiness even when it can guarantee wordly materials
- his famous name can also cause him enemies
- being handsome makes him an arrogant person; thus one can’t live with such a
person
- when he has power, he could be evil like when he offered money to Anna at the last
part of the story
