2.  Writing materials
Go to the examination hall with quality writing materials and also with extras. E.g.:
Black Pen-2 (and 2 Blue Pen)

a. Go to the hall with your necessary identification materials. i.e.

3.  Try as much as you can to ensure you sleep early enough so you'll
be refreshed for the exam.
 Pray well, Eat well, Rest well, Study well ......
 Control your write ups , write focusing on what is required,
 Do not write to simply just fill up your booklet but write accurately
and correctly.

4.  Rough work
Do not write on your question paper do all your rough work at the
back page of your answer booklet and then rule it out with a straight
line instead. But preferable write the answer directly on the actual
answer page
 Timing
Plan your time effectively having a maximum amount of time for a
particular question section. E.g.
Section A = 30 mins
Section B = 1hr 30 mins
Section C = 30mins
Rounding up = 15 mins
Revising your work & last min corrections= 15 mins

Have neat, clear and bold hand writing with good spacing.

Give the specific definition as seen in the textbooks (word for word or
as close to what is there as possible) specifying the postulator of that
definition and the year if possible.
N.B – If you are not sure of the definition you know or get the name of
the postulator confused with another definition, then simply give the
definition you know but without the name and year.
3. Explain –
Write about the said concept in your words. You may state the
definition first (i.e before explaining) or after explaining.

Answering Questions Generally

17. 1. Pray well, study well, eat well, rest well and be relaxed when going for the examination.
2. When studying, try to understand the concept behind the particular topic (read to know and not just
to pass).
3. On the night before the exam;
a. Try to make sure you have enough rest so as to make it to the exam center refreshed and fully active.
b. Eat well (healthy) and early so at for the food to digest before going to bed.
4. Go the examination center with all your required writing materials and preferably even with extras.
5. Upon getting to the examination hall make out a little time to say a quick prayer and to calm and
compose yourself.
6. If you must do a rough work, do it at the back of the answer booklet and rule it out with a straight line
across the page.
7. Write neatly, boldly and clearly using a good margin and numbering system.
8. Underline your headings as much as possible.
9. Draw all necessary diagrams neatly with a pencil before using your pen (you are free to apply colors
to differentiate the sections if you want. Just be sure to stick to your already set time)
