There is no substitute for serious preparation .
“ Forewarned is forearmed.”
 No one may teach a license . ( RA. 7836)
LET measures stock knowledge
Four-year pre-service preparation matters a lot!
Help yourself
Self –review
Master the competencies .
Prepare for high-level questions.
Sharpen your comprehension level in English.
Effective Review
Go over all the cluster of subjects and
competencies of the different tests . Read all
references you can read about the competencies
to the point of mastery .
On the day of the LET
Allow plenty of time to get to the test site.
Keep calm. If you get tense, take a few deep breaths.
Budget your time wisely.
Follow instructions.
General Instructions to Examinees
Report to the test center before 6:30 AM on the
first day of the examination to verify your room
and seat numbers .
Late examinees will not be admitted.
(Res.N0.2004-211, s.04)
Attend to your personal needs before the start of
the examination in every subject. NO EXAMINEE
WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE
EXAMINATION ROOM DURING THE
EXAMINATION.
General Instructions to Examinees
Answer the questions at the time allotted . When you
submit your answer sheet and test booklet , follow
this arrangement:
- Notice of Admission
- Answer Sheet
- Questionnaire
General Instruction to Examinees
• Do not leave the room until:
- your answer sheet and test question set are
received by the room watchers
- you have signed , indicated the time and set ( A
or B) on the Examinees’ Record of Attendance
and
- the lower portion of your Notice of Admission
( certification on the Receipt of Test Papers ) is
signed by Room Watchers and returned to you.
How to Handle Test Booklets
Write your seat number at the right top corner
of page 1.
Check if the number of pages of the Test Booklet
is complete and has no misprint .If there is any
problem, return the set to your Room Watchers
for replacement.
Indicate the set of your Test Booklet by marking
A or B on your answer sheet.
You may use your test booklet for solving,
writing.
Corrections, Rating and Release
These are fully computerized.
Answer sheets ( no names ) are read by an Optic
Mark Reader.
Answers are matched with the Answer Key and
rated by computers.
Test results are FINAL upon release.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RE-CHECKING
OF TEST PAPERS .
BEWARE OF FIXERS.
Learning from Other Examinees ‘ Mistakes
Don’t shade your answers too heavily nor too thinly
or lightly.
Shade your answers on the right spot.
No erasures!
Shade answers with your pencil NOT with your
ballpen.
There is only one answer to every question.
How to handle ID/Answer Sheet
Check if the serial number of the Examinee
Identification Sheet / Answer Sheets are the same
for all the sheets. If there is any discrepancy ,
return the set to your Room Watchers for
replacement .The Serial Number is NOT the
examination number.
Check if there are defects or unnecessary marks
on your Examinee ID Sheet/Answer Sheet.
How to Handle the Answer Sheet
Check if the number of Answer Sheets correspond to
the number of examination subjects.
Do not fold or mutilate. Take extra care to keep clean
your Examinee ID/Answer Sheets.
