Major Projects and Positions:
• CanWest Mechanical: Site safety manager, CNRL Horizon November, 2015 to present.
Responsibilities;Conducting dailysafety meetings,Insure workers are educated in companyand site specific
safe work procedures. Monitor workers daily activities to insure everyone’s safety. Develop and/or adjust
JSAs’ and SWP’s to meet the prime contractor’s expectations. Conduct site safety reports. Complete all
necessary paperwork to insure the companies COR values are upheld.
Accomplishments: Developed a compressive orientation package with regards to working at heights safe
work policies and procedures.
• Turn Around Safety Coordinator: Yara Belle Plaine - Moose Jaw, SK. August 2015 to October 2015
Responsibilities:I was hired as a s i te w i d e turn round safety Specialist. My duties included but were
not limited to: working with contractors to insure company and/or Yara safe work practices were followed,
incident investigation as needed and complete site inspections to help mitigate hazards and implement
controls to insure the safety of all workers and contractors.
Accomplishments:One procedure I implemented was to get all the safety advisers together for a complete
planttour every day. This was well received and insured thateveryone was on the same page with regards
to site safety.
• Safety Coordinator for Corval Energy Ltd: December 2014-present. ( This is on a as need basis )
Responsibilities:: Developing Pre Job Hazard Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Job Safety
Analysis, outlining procedures, hazards, setting controls for identified hazards, delegating who is
responsible for the procedure and hazard control, and who it affects. Conduct Tap Root Causation
Investigations if needed, outlining corrective actions and who is responsible for implementing the
actions. Conduct site safety inspections.
Accomplishments: Developed SWPs’ and JSA’s for operating a small oil battery.
• Safety Consultant for Prime Essentials Systems Corporation: December, 2014-present. ( This is on a
as contract basis ) Prime Essentials Systems Corporation is a professional safety consulting firm.
Responsibilities:As a safety consultantwith PESC I’m positioned with various clients based on their needs
at the time.
Skills used in this position include butare notlimited to: Conduct Tap Root Causation Investigations,
outlining corrective actions and who is responsible for implementing the actions. Conductsite safety
reports.Developing Pre Job Hazard Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Job Safety

Accomplishments: Investigated an incident where a client had been issued a stop work order by OH&S. In
this situation I completed the incident investigation, outlining several causation events which led up to the
incident, Completed a corrective actions reportoutlining whatactions needed to be implemented to mitigate
the probability that incidents of this nature would not be repeated in the future. Followed up to insure the
corrective actions were implemented.Completed the paperwork and reported to OH&S to get the stop work
order lifted.

2. • Safety Coordinator for M&N Construction: February, 2010-present.
Over the past five years my position with M&N primarily has been as an onsite field safety advisor. Prime
contractors include:CNRL, Suncor, Southern Pacific, Pembina Energy, Pengrowth Energy, Trans Gas and
Sunshine Energy.
Responsibilities::Day to day operation of the safety department, Execute daily, weekly and monthly safety
meetings,Equipmentinspections, Site safety inspections,M&N and Client orientations,Conduct Tap
Root Causation Investigations, outlining corrective actions and who is responsible for implementing
the actions when needed,Reportand file WBC claims,
Accomplishments:Over the pastfive years I have completelyrewritten all M&Ns’ Safe Work procedures
and Job Safety Analysis documents.I also was instrumental in designing and implementing a policywhere
all workers used a documentcombining the Job Safety Analysis and the Field Level Hazard Assessmenton
a daily basis.
Area Safety Supervisor for Cordean Contracting - Lloydminster, AB - 2006 to 2010.
Responsibilities::Supervised and coordinated activities ofworkers engaged in fluid hauling.Executed daily
operations ofa fleet of over 60 units. Examined power units and trailers for safety issues.Wrote,designed
and produced PJHA's. Conduct Tap Root Causation Investigations, outlining corrective actions and
who is responsible for implementing the actions.Supervised and coordinated special projects for Husky
Energy, Conoco Phillips,Meg Energy, JACOS, Total E&P and Cenovus.
Accomplishments:Was instrumental in writing loading and unloading procedures,insuring hazards were
identified and control measures were installed to mitigate hazards identified.
