 Provide safety recommendations to contractor to carry the job safely as per Saudi Aramco General
Instruction requirements.
 Monitored safety requirements of the entire project and enforced all safety requirements as per SACSM and
applicable Aramco G.I. requirements were met.
 Assist Loss Prevention Engr. and Contractor the investigation of incidents to ensure that incident reports are
completed and submitted to Project Engineer and Division Head.
 Conduct regular site inspections and report unsafe acts and conditions to the Project Engineer. Coordinate
the observations with the contractor Safety Officer for immediate corrective action.
 Conduct a monthly (PSI) Project Safety Index for contractor and assist the supervisor to enter the data in the
SAP system.
 Conduct scaffolding inspection on every newly erected scaffold before use and every two weeks thereafter.
 Develop and maintain safety reports, records and statistical data i.e. head counts, safety man-hour, first-aid
injury report, near misses and etc. The report is submitted to the immediate supervisor in a monthly basis.
 Serves as liaison between GOSPs project proponent and Loss Prevention representative during a site
walkthrough inspection for safety audit.
 Conduct interview and written test to any contractor safety officer/supervisor and to evaluate their
performance and capabilities.
 Conduct investigation to all accident /incident and near misses to determine the root cause and come up
with safety recommendation.
 Review the critical lift plan submitted by contractor to ensure that G.I. 7.028 Critical Lift Procedures prior to
do the actual lift.

 Conduct weekly tool box safety meeting with all workers and Management staff at the construction site and
keep all the records on file at company safety department.
 Monitored construction activity and provide recommendations to the site supervisor to prevent from
potential hazards.
 Conduct a monthly inspection for fire protection equipment to ensure that they are all in good conditions
and readily available in case of emergency.
 Conduct safety orientation to all the workers in the company prior deployment to their respective sites.
 Assist with my supervisor preparing a monthly report submitted to Saudi Aramco. The report includes unsafe
acts and conditions, incident and near misses.
 Coordinate with all Aramco concerned department for all contractors’ requests such as; "inspection of their
equipment’s, Work Permit courses "Riggers Course, Scaffolding Course etc."

Position: Safety Engineer
Company: Saudi Arabian SAIPEM Ltd.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Conduct an inspection for work permits and ensure that all pipeline activities mentioned in the permit and
the safety precautions highlighted by the issuer are addressed.
 Perform a regular inspection for all heavy equipment’s being used for pipe laying and installations activities
are certified by Saudi Aramco inspectors.
 Conduct a regular inspection of all heavy equipment operators to make sure that they are certified to
operate the specific equipment mentioned the back of the certificates as per G.I. 7.025 Testing and
Certification requirements.
 Coordinate with client safety representative and act on their comment/ safety observation to promptly
resolve immediately the issue.
 Conduct monthly inspections for all the portable equipment’s such as welding machines, electrical power
tools, air compressor and etc. are all in good conditions. Any signs of damage during the inspection
immediately remove from service for repair or replacement.
 Continuously monitored the excavation activities to make sure that proper shoring has to be installed from 4
feet depth of excavation and spoil clearance must be maintained of at least 2 feet away from the edge of
excavation or collected from site in a daily basis.
