and readily available in case of emergency.

Position: Safety Engineer
Company: Saudi Arabian SAIPEM Ltd.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct an inspection for work permits and ensure that all pipeline activities mentioned in the permit and
the safety precautions highlighted by the issuer are addressed.
Perform a regular inspection for all heavy equipment’s being used for pipe laying and installations activities
are certified by Saudi Aramco inspectors.
Conduct a regular inspection of all heavy equipment operators to make sure that they are certified to
operate the specific equipment mentioned the back of the certificates as per G.I. 7.025 Testing and
Certification requirements.
Coordinate with client safety representative and act on their comment/ safety observation to promptly
resolve immediately the issue.
Conduct monthly inspections for all the portable equipment’s such as welding machines, electrical power
tools, air compressor and etc. are all in good conditions. Any signs of damage during the inspection
immediately remove from service for repair or replacement.
Continuously monitored the excavation activities to make sure that proper shoring has to be installed from 4
feet depth of excavation and spoil clearance must be maintained of at least 2 feet away from the edge of
excavation or collected from site in a daily basis.
