Question 5How did you attract/address your
audience?
I used pink, yellow and
white. These are girly
colours so will attract
the teenager audience.

The main image is a
teenage girl so the
audience will relate the
her which will attract
the audience.

The masthead is like
other pop music
magazine mastheads
because it is bold and
equally spaced out and
spread across the top of
the magazine.
I have used an image of
One Direction to attract
the teenage girls
because the band are
very popular and have a
huge teenage fan base
so this will attract the
audience. This suggests
that this magazine is a
pop music magazine.

The price will attract the
audience because £1 is
cheaper then other music
magazines so will have a
unique selling point
because most teenage
girls do not have a job so
cant afford the £5
magazines.

The puff will attract the teenage
audience because it say “free Wireless
Tickets.” This will attract the teenage
audience because all teenagers want
to go to music festivals.

The bottom strap
line is used mainly in
pop music
magazines to show
features and
competitions inside
the magazine.
I have used the same
three colours: pink, white
and yellow. I have done
this because it is girly and
fits in with the colour
scheme of the whole
magazine.
I have made up a
Facebook link, twitter link,
Instagram link and Tumblr
link. I have done this
because most teenagers
use these social
networking sites so this
wold attract the target
audience.

I have print screened the
front cover and put it on my
contents page. This is not
usually seen in a pop music
magazine so I decided to put
it in my magazine to make it
more unique
I have added the same
image of One Direction
because they are really
popular with teenage girls
so I decided to put the
same image on the
contents page to attract the
audience.
I have added a fashion section the magazine. I
have done this because most teenage girls are
into fashion and would like to know the latest
trends. Most pop music magazines have this in
there magazine so I have followed the same
conventions.
I have used the
same pink and
yellow colour as
seen on the front
cover and the
contents page. I
have done this
because I want the
magazine to flow
so by using the
same colours I will
achieve this.
The image is the same model as
on the front cover. I have
changed the models outfit and
makeup look to make her look
different because other magazine
double page spread do not have
the models wearing the same
outfit. So I was following the
magazine conventions to attract
the teenage audience.

I have also added three
images of the model in three
different poses. The model is
wearing the same makeup
look. The reason I have put
the three images there is
because other double page
spreads do not only have one
image and the teenage
audience like to look at
pictures.

I have separated the
text into two
columns because the
double page spreads
I have looked at are
set out in this way. It
also doesn’t look as
much text when laid
out in this way so it
attracts the teenage
audience because
there is not much
text.
I have used the same
font style as the text
on the other parts of
the magazine. I have
don’t this because
the text is easy to
read for my target
audience.
