My Research
You will provide a survey checklist and produce 10 copies for your 10 respondents.
Survey teachers who are LPT and currently teaching. If possible you survey teachers
from different levels from Primary-Tertiary level.
Procedure:
1. To get the average, add the scores of the teachers and divide by 10.
2. Look at the legend above and determine the description of the average.
3. Study the results.
Tabulate the Results in the sample matrix below:

My Analysis
1. Which of the twelve attributes is the lowest among the teachers?
Based on the result, it was the Emotional Stability and Objectiveness that has the
low average of 3.1 but they could be interpreted as Average among the teachers.
When I came back to my own result, I found out that Emotional Stability is my
lowest attribute. I must conclude that there are teachers who can and cannot
control their emotions, such as holding up anger, maintaining poise despite of
stress perhaps, being calm when pressure amids and any situations that arise
our emotional intelligence. Also, in terms of Objectiveness we tend to be doubtful
in making decisions and it is okay as a human being, average works just fine.
2. Which of the twelve attributes is the highest among the teachers?
According to my data, it is the Refinement with 4.7 of average. The respondents
show that they are well-refined in terms of social interactions, being a role model
to everybody showing off good manners and right conduct. That's what they are
good at.
3. How many teachers are high in compassion?
There are 4 teachers out of 10 chosen respondents are compassionate meaning
they are optimistic and positive, having a happy disposition, willing to help, kind
and sympathetic.
4. How many teachers are low in emotional stability?
There are no teachers with low emotional stability, rather most of them ae
average in terms of being emotional stable.
5. What six attributes are found to be strong among the teachers?
The top six attributes to be strong are the Compassion, Self-motivation,
Pleasantness, Cooperativeness, Reliability and most of all Refinement.
6. What six attributes are found to be weak among the teachers?
The six attributes considered as weak among the teachers are the following:
Objectiveness, Emotional Stability, Intelligence, Self-confidence,
Resourcefulness and Buoyancy
7. What interesting observation can you spot from the other data not asked?
I notice that yes, maybe the teachers do not possess intellectual intelligence and
emotional intelligence, they have their own intelligence because we have Multiple
Intelligence such as the Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Individuals, Linguistic or
Verbal Individuals.
My Reflection
After studying the results of your teacher survey, write down your reflection on the
following situations reported to have happened in the school setting.
1. Why are some teachers reportedly physically abusing their students such as hitting
on student’s head, throwing erasers on students face, letting students swallow
scratch paper etc.? What attribute do you think is low for this teacher?
Obviously, that teacher lacks emotional stability. It happens when you cannot take
the situation real well, not capable to control his/her emotions that leads to hurt the
students. A teacher who is high in neuroticism has a tendency to easily experience
negative emotions. As a future educator, we must remain stable and balanced
though the outside trigger us to do things that will affect the people around you.
2. Why do you think some teachers are better loved by students than others?
The fact that there are teachers who is more likeable and loved by students than
the other teachers is perhaps to be considerate and compassionate to his/her
students. The majority of the students in a particular class that loves a certain
teacher needs a teacher who is kind yet straight. A teacher who knows what he/she
talking about. A teacher who is emotional stable. A teacher who is intelligent in any
level. That factors may lead the students to love a teacher than any other.
3. If you were to choose, which personal attributes should all teachers possesses?
Why?
Well, if I'm going to choose, it would be 'Reliability', if a teacher is reliable then
he/she is also credible. It shows that there are certain behaviors that create
opportunities for students to perceive one teacher as more credible than another.A
reliable teacher is dedicated to his job, practices it diligently and makes the student
believe in it too. In order to teach the student, we must teach ourselves first.
Conclusion from own Reflections and result of your survey? What should be the Skills of
a Modern teacher? Make own presentation. (Make it creative as possible).
AS MY REFLECTION, I’VE
COME UP AN
INFOGRAPHIC
PRESENTATION AS MY
PRESENTATION WHAT A
SKILLFUL TEACHER IS.
My Application
Using what I have learned in this episode, when I become a teacher, I should: List
down what you will be and your ways in doing it. Make own presentation. (Make it creative
as possible).

  • 5. My Research You will provide a survey checklist and produce 10 copies for your 10 respondents. Survey teachers who are LPT and currently teaching. If possible you survey teachers from different levels from Primary-Tertiary level. Procedure: 1. To get the average, add the scores of the teachers and divide by 10. 2. Look at the legend above and determine the description of the average. 3. Study the results. Tabulate the Results in the sample matrix below: Legend for Interpretation: 5- Very High 2- Low 4- High 1- Very Low 3- Average Personal Attributes Scores of checklist for each Cluster AVERAGE Description T1 T2 T3 T4 T5 1.Intelligence 9 6 10 7 2 3.4 Average 2.Emotional Stability 4 6 7 7 7 3.1 Average 3.Resourcefulness 6 8 8 7 9 3.8 High 4.Compassion 6 10 6 9 10 4.1 High 5.Bouyancy 7 9 7 8 9 4 High 6.Objectiveness 4 4 8 6 9 3.1 Average 7.Self-motivation 9 8 10 9 7 4.3 High 8.Self-confidence 8 6 7 5 9 3.5 High 9.Pleasantness 9 10 10 7 9 4.5 Very High 10.Refinement 9 10 10 10 8 4.7 Very High 11.Cooperativeness 10 10 9 8 8 4.5 Very High 12.Reliablity 9 8 9 10 10 4.6 Very High Weak Strong
  • 6. My Analysis 1. Which of the twelve attributes is the lowest among the teachers? Based on the result, it was the Emotional Stability and Objectiveness that has the low average of 3.1 but they could be interpreted as Average among the teachers. When I came back to my own result, I found out that Emotional Stability is my lowest attribute. I must conclude that there are teachers who can and cannot control their emotions, such as holding up anger, maintaining poise despite of stress perhaps, being calm when pressure amids and any situations that arise our emotional intelligence. Also, in terms of Objectiveness we tend to be doubtful in making decisions and it is okay as a human being, average works just fine. 2. Which of the twelve attributes is the highest among the teachers? According to my data, it is the Refinement with 4.7 of average. The respondents show that they are well-refined in terms of social interactions, being a role model to everybody showing off good manners and right conduct. That's what they are good at. 3. How many teachers are high in compassion? There are 4 teachers out of 10 chosen respondents are compassionate meaning they are optimistic and positive, having a happy disposition, willing to help, kind and sympathetic. 4. How many teachers are low in emotional stability? There are no teachers with low emotional stability, rather most of them ae average in terms of being emotional stable. 5. What six attributes are found to be strong among the teachers? The top six attributes to be strong are the Compassion, Self-motivation, Pleasantness, Cooperativeness, Reliability and most of all Refinement. 6. What six attributes are found to be weak among the teachers? The six attributes considered as weak among the teachers are the following: Objectiveness, Emotional Stability, Intelligence, Self-confidence, Resourcefulness and Buoyancy
  • 7. 7. What interesting observation can you spot from the other data not asked? I notice that yes, maybe the teachers do not possess intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence, they have their own intelligence because we have Multiple Intelligence such as the Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Individuals, Linguistic or Verbal Individuals. My Reflection After studying the results of your teacher survey, write down your reflection on the following situations reported to have happened in the school setting. 1. Why are some teachers reportedly physically abusing their students such as hitting on student’s head, throwing erasers on students face, letting students swallow scratch paper etc.? What attribute do you think is low for this teacher? Obviously, that teacher lacks emotional stability. It happens when you cannot take the situation real well, not capable to control his/her emotions that leads to hurt the students. A teacher who is high in neuroticism has a tendency to easily experience negative emotions. As a future educator, we must remain stable and balanced though the outside trigger us to do things that will affect the people around you. 2. Why do you think some teachers are better loved by students than others? The fact that there are teachers who is more likeable and loved by students than the other teachers is perhaps to be considerate and compassionate to his/her students. The majority of the students in a particular class that loves a certain teacher needs a teacher who is kind yet straight. A teacher who knows what he/she talking about. A teacher who is emotional stable. A teacher who is intelligent in any level. That factors may lead the students to love a teacher than any other. 3. If you were to choose, which personal attributes should all teachers possesses? Why? Well, if I'm going to choose, it would be 'Reliability', if a teacher is reliable then he/she is also credible. It shows that there are certain behaviors that create opportunities for students to perceive one teacher as more credible than another.A reliable teacher is dedicated to his job, practices it diligently and makes the student believe in it too. In order to teach the student, we must teach ourselves first.
  • 8. Conclusion from own Reflections and result of your survey? What should be the Skills of a Modern teacher? Make own presentation. (Make it creative as possible). AS MY REFLECTION, I’VE COME UP AN INFOGRAPHIC PRESENTATION AS MY PRESENTATION WHAT A SKILLFUL TEACHER IS.
  • 9. My Application Using what I have learned in this episode, when I become a teacher, I should: List down what you will be and your ways in doing it. Make own presentation. (Make it creative as possible).
