be a part of the solution!

Many farmers wish to contribute to insect protection, but they are in
need of evidence-based guidelines

Often farmers resort to short-term actions, like flower strips, which are
not cost-effective, and forget to prioritize more permanent measures
6. Increased expectations from e.g. consumers and mortgage lenders has
sharpened focus on documenting efforts to improve biodiversity

‘Before, I didn’t really notice the flowers
and insects – green grass for my cows,
that was my main focus.
Today, I know to keep and eye out for
the number of butterflies, bees and
flowers on my land because they reflect
the value of my management’

‘Natur Tjek has inspired me to
think in new ways. The norm is
that old trees are ugly, and
before I would burn them in my
furnace, even though they had
little value.
Today I leave them behind with
good concience because I
know how good they are for the
biodiversity on my farm – and
I’d much rather spend time with
my family than tidying up
around the farm’
