4. 4. Cause and Effect Board Game with Cause and Effect Cards;
5. 5. 6-sided dice and two erasers/coins to move around the board;
6. 6. Crayons or Colored Pencils;

10. 10. Have the student color the moose, and discuss cause and effect. The teacher asked student (cause) to color the moose, and the student did so. (effect).

12. 12. Explain to the student that he/she will be learning about cause and effect relationships and if/then statements.
13. 13. Have the student read If You give a Moose a Muffin by Laura Numeroff, discuss what happens in the story, and the relationship between the girl and the moose.
14. 14. State examples of caue and effect in the story;
15. 15. Check for understanding by periodically asking the student to state cause and effect examples in the story.
