Ossiannilsson received the title EDEN Fellow 2014, the
EDEN Council of Fellows 2018 and the Open Education
Europa Fellow 2015. She is the Chair of ICoBC Quality Grid
and Taxonomy. She has worked with ILO ITC since 2018.
Ossiannilsson has nearly 20 years of experience in her field.
She is a member of the Ed Board for several scientific
journals and regularly participates as a speaker in
conferences. At the national level she VP in SADE and REK.

Indicators of quality in TVET
The European Quality Assurance for Vocational and Traning has developed a list of indicators to assess
the quality of TVET systems, expecially in Europe[1]. The indicators are :
1. Relevance of quality assurance systems for ET (Vocational Education and Training) providers
2. Investment in training of teachers and trainers
3. Participation rate in VET programmes
4. Completion rate in VET programmes
5. Placement rate in VET programmes
6. Utilisation of acquired skills at the workplace
7. Unemployment rate
8. Prevalence of vulnerable group
9. Mechanisms to identify training needs in the labour market
10. Schemes used to promote better access to VET
For further information on this topic,
Concerning extra-european countries, the study from Australian National Training
authority[3] revealed that six more frequently used quality indicators in the countries
studied were (1) education attainment; (2) teachers; (3) learner support; (4) articulation;
(5) learning environment; and (6) demographic and inclusiveness.

•Open ECBCheck is focusing on quality improvement and innovation for e-
learning programmes in capacity building. Providing international
benchmarks, it will dramatically enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of
capacity building processes which are using partly or fully technology-
enhanced learning.
•Compared to other quality initiatives in the area of technology-enhanced
learning, ECBCheck has a focused approach, relating to e-learning
programmes and courses as a whole and not only to learning software. The
ECBCheck is building on broad stakeholder involvement.
•The ECBCheck process is structured in several stages and offers a clear
structured approach in each of the accreditation steps.
•The ECBCheck provides a certification as a result but encourages continuous
quality improvement and focuses on innovation. It ensures continuous
quality improvement.

She works as an international quality assessor for EADTU and ICDE. Ossiannilsson chairs the ICDE OER Advocacy Committee. She has even several other missions for ICDE. She was research director for the Quality ICDE Standards Study 2014/15, and on Blended Learning 2017. Ossiannilsson received the title EDEN Fellow 2014, the EDEN Council of Fellows 2018 and the Open Education Europa Fellow 2015. She is the Chair of ICoBC Quality Grid and Taxonomy. She has worked with ILO ITC since 2018. Ossiannilsson has nearly 20 years of experience in her field.   • 7. V Indicators of quality in TVET The European Quality Assurance for Vocational and Traning has developed a list of indicators to assess the quality of TVET systems, expecially in Europe[1]. The indicators are : 1. Relevance of quality assurance systems for ET (Vocational Education and Training) providers 2. Investment in training of teachers and trainers 3. Participation rate in VET programmes 4. Completion rate in VET programmes 5. Placement rate in VET programmes 6. Utilisation of acquired skills at the workplace 7. Unemployment rate 8. Prevalence of vulnerable group 9. Mechanisms to identify training needs in the labour market 10. Schemes used to promote better access to VET For further information on this topic, Concerning extra-european countries, the study from Australian National Training authority[3] revealed that six more frequently used quality indicators in the countries studied were (1) education attainment; (2) teachers; (3) learner support; (4) articulation; (5) learning environment; and (6) demographic and inclusiveness. 7

Providing international benchmarks, it will dramatically enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of capacity building processes which are using partly or fully technology- enhanced learning. •Compared to other quality initiatives in the area of technology-enhanced learning, ECBCheck has a focused approach, relating to e-learning programmes and courses as a whole and not only to learning software. The ECBCheck is building on broad stakeholder involvement. •The ECBCheck process is structured in several stages and offers a clear structured approach in each of the accreditation steps. •The ECBCheck provides a certification as a result but encourages continuous quality improvement and focuses on innovation.
