1. Q6. What new technologies did you use?
A new technology which I have learnt is Photoshop cs6 which was the main
software I used in order to design and create my magazine. I did a few
different designs as seen below before my final copy were complete. I did a
lot of playing around with photoshop in order to create a professional looking
magazine. The thing with photoshop now is that the internet is a good
resource to get tutorials from using YouTube or even just Wikipedia.
Photoshop can do so many things as well which is very useful when
designing. Below are some screenshots of some work which was completed
on photoshop.
2. Q6. What new technologies did you use?
Another new technology which I used was YouTube. YouTube allowed me to
put videos up of me analysing work and various bits for my planning. I also
used YouTube as a resource to my full advantage and watched a variation of
videos to help me with photoshop as there are thousands of tutorials online.
As seen below that is a screenshot from YouTube and shows all the videos I
have placed up there which is related to my work for media. This is a really
useful resource for a media student because you can upload videos and watch
videos about almost anything and everything.
3. Q6. What new technologies did you use?
Another new technology which I used to present some of my work was
SlideShare and Prezi, this enabled me to use different software's to present my
work in different ways. SlideShare allowed me to place PowerPoints I had
completed up into a quick easy slide through. Prezi was a similar website
however all you have to do is write the text appropriate on the website in a
fun spider diagram.

I also used blogger. This was were all my coursework was to be held and inserted into. I learnt how to use this
over time with the help of my teachers. The blog has helped me place all my work online. It holds all the
different sections of my work. This was a really useful resource for a media student because it links in well to the
media aspect of this course but also it helps us gain more knowledge and know how to use a variety of websites
to present work and then upload it.

Finally I used a Nikon camera in order to capture some good, sharp quality
photographs which were suitable for my magazine. Once I took some decent
photographs, I used them in photoshop and edited them again suitable for my
magazine design.
