Active Directory Health Profiler can generate reports from health pack data in three formats: HTML, CSV data grid, and treeview. The HTML report displays execution status and data in a table for each health pack. Columns can be filtered in the HTML report. A CSV file is generated containing the data grid for each health pack, which can be searched and filtered. Treeview format displays the health pack data in a hierarchical structure with a selectable top node and child nodes.

Generating HT ML Reports:
Active Directory Health Profiler generates report in HTML and CSV formats. When you click on
“Generate Report” action available on the Right Click Context menu ofa Health Profile, Active Directory
Health Profiler consolidates data generated by all Health Packs and prepares a report in HTML format as
shown in the screenshot below:
The HTML report shows the execution status ofeach Health Pack and Health Pack data in a table.
Filtering Columns in the report: In case you need to filtercolumns in the HTML report, you select
the columns that you would like to display in the report from the “Filter Columns”pane as shown in the
screenshot below:
2. As you can see in the above screenshot, I filtered columns “HostName, IPv4Address, IsGlobalCatalog, and
Name” columns for “Get Active Directory ForestDomain Controller Info”Health Pack. Once you
have selected the columns to be displayed in the HTML report, click on “Save Columns” and then click
on “Save and Run” button to regeneratethe reports with selected columns. When you generate the
report next time,ActiveDirectory Health Profiler will apply filtered columns for each Health Pack.
Exporting Report: Active Directory Health Profiler stores Health Pack data under .Data folder. Active
Directory Health Profilershows the path ofthe HTML report in the browserwindow as shown in the
screenshot above. The HTML report file name for this Health Profile is C:DynamicPacks-AD Health
ProfilerDataHealth Profile 1.HT ML.
“Generate Report”action is also available on the Right Click contextmenu ofa Health Pack. When you
click on the “Generate Report” action on a Health Pack, Active Directory Health Profiler will show the
HTML report only for the selected Health Pack as shown in the screenshot below:

Info” Health Pack and then clicked on “Generate Data” action to show Health Pack data in a data grid.
Data grid supports two functions:

the column and then typethe text in “Search Data” textbox as shown in the screenshot above.
Filter columns: Y ou can check/uncheck the columns to be displayedin the data grid by using

Generating Treeview data is a great feature ofActiveDirectory Health Profiler. It allows you to view
Health Pack data in a Treeview format as shown in the screenshot below.
Before you can generateTreeview for Health Pack data, you need to select a “Top Node” and then select
the child nodes. As you can see in the screenshot above, for “Get Active Directory Forest Domain
Controller Info” Health Pack data, I selected “HostName” column as the Top Node and all other
columns as the Child Nodes. Y oucan check/uncheck the child nodes you want to display underthe Top
Node.
