To build students/teachers kete on a range of different software (freeware) that is not currently being used by them.) How we planned it? They presented to their audience in a professional manner and went back to school and introduced the learning to their peers.

Paint: Enhancing photos with paint tools. Comic life and Publisher: Making advertisements with these tools. Adobe Photoshop Editor: Changing photo images Scrap Blogging: Putting photos into a scrap book format. Squiz Morphing: Taking photos and morphing them.

5. Evaluation: Students worked cooperatively all day, sharing and interacting with being teachers and learners of new software. Meeting friend and fellow peers was another positive for the day. Teachers learnt with their students. All students went away with something they hadn’t known before and a new friend. Pauline commented “As I have visited schools within my cluster student often come and comment on the day and are asking for another one.” Where to next. ?????? Another conference in 2009, with a specific focus on movie making. ( This may not be student run. We may bring in some outside experts and involve students making a movie during the day.)
