 At sixty Defoe started
writing Novel

3.  Novel based on fact
 A man by the name of
Alexander Kirk had spent
many years on a lonely island
, all by himself, before
returning to Scotland.
 This inspired Defoe’s
imagination .little was known
about tropical island in those
days, despite that he was
able to give a detailed picture
of life on tropical island.

4.  Crusoe was born in 1632,in
the city of York , belong to a
good family
 His Father was very wealthy
as merchant
 Father Married with a girl
who’s family name was
Robinson
 Themselves called as Crusoe
 so his name became
Robinson Crusoe

5.  Father want to give Crusoe good Education
and wanted to become a lawyer
 But Crusoe’s mind was set on going to sea
 His Father warned him not to think of leaving
home anymore
 But Oneday he run away from his home
 Thus his journey begins

words in sigh “ The boy might be
happy if he would stay at home ,
but if he goes abroad , he will be
the most miserable wretch that
was ever born”
 In storms he thinks that “ If ever
I got once my foot upon dry land
again , I would go directly home
to my father and never set into a
ship again while I lived’’
 yet he continues ............
