10. European Commission
A European Union body whose members, while
appointed by states, are supposed to represent EU

service in Brussels. the commission’s role is to

11. The Council of EU
Council of Minister
A European Union institute in which the relevant
ministers of foreign, economic, agriculture, finance,
e.t.c, of any member state meet to enact legislations
and reconcile national interests. formerly known as
the Council of Ministers, when the meeting takes
place among the state leaders, it is called the

Quasi-legislative body of the European
Union that operates as a watchdog over
the European Commission and has
limited legislative powers.

A judicial arm of the European Union, based in
Luxemburg. the court has actively established its
jurisdiction and its right to overrule national law

Supreme organ of the EU, it ratify treaties,
it has political authority to make policies,

15. The court of auditors
The European Court of Auditors (ECA)
looks after the interests of EU taxpayers. It
does not have legal powers, but works to
improve the European Commission's
management of the EU budget and reports
on EU finances.
16. European central bank
The European Central Bank (ECB) is the central
bank of the 19 European Union countries which
have adopted the euro. Our main task is to
maintain price stability in the euro area and so
preserve the purchasing power of the single
currency.
