This document outlines objectives and learning outcomes for a chapter on fractions. The objectives are to develop skills in fraction terminology, representing fractions on a number line, identifying proper, improper and mixed fractions, expressing fractions in lowest form and finding equivalent fractions. The learning outcomes are to identify fractions in different situations, demonstrate fractions on a number line, identify fraction types, understand lowest form and equivalent fractions, compare fractions, add and subtract like and unlike fractions, and apply fraction addition and subtraction to problems.
