Role Summary:
The position serves to manageL1 level Application support in the dynamic production environment on the Core banking
application Finacle including international geographies now upgraded to Finacle version 10.2. Responsibilities includes
providing extensive technical application support, providing technical and infrastructure solutions, Monitoring and
maintaining the application infrastructure’s as well project and application status reporting.
Incident and Problem Management: Responsible to handle the incidents reported by the ICICI branches (Domestic &
International) by analyzing and tracking the nature of the incidents and its re-occurrences. Escalating those issues where re-occurrences
are observed to the product team by providing the investigation and issue analysis report and getting a Pre
approved problem ticket raised by closing the incident from product team, so that the necessary workarounds can be
provided by updating the required tables and values in the database until permanent fix is delivered. Ensuring the Incidents
are closed on time without violating the terms and conditions in the SLA and discussing the Problem tickets with the
product team and vendor for bug fix and permanent resolution.
2. Technical Solutions / Support: Technical support includes providing the technical assistance in resolving the issues
observed during day to day operations and End of the day processing by the end users as well as the datacentre operations
team. Escalating the issues in case of abnormalities with various teams like UNIX application support, DBA’s, development
teams and various involved.
Infrastructure and System Monitoring: Monitoring the system health and ensuring all the infrastructure and services used
by the application are working normally as well as resolving and rectifying the issues faced with the help of sysadmin and
implementation teams. Ensuring the servers and other tools are maintained on regular intervals and planning of critical
infrastructure upgrades as and when required by availing the proper downtime.
Disaster Recovery / Management: Responsibility included Team Lead in DR management as per the compliance
requirement and Business continuity process. Activities carried under this are to prepare DR Plan for all instances working
on Finacle System, check all the infrastructure components, latest releases and application bug fixes are in place,
completing the setup related activities to redirect the live application to the DR site and monitoring the performance on the
DR run over day. Responsibility also included communication with various third party interfaces and internal Sys Admin
and DBA teams to conduct DR Drills as per RBI norms & reporting the same to Management / Audit & Compliance / RBI.

Project: Migration of data to ICORE (ICICI Core Banking Application – Finacle),
April, 2007 - March, 2008
The Sangli Bank Ltd. merged into ICICI Bank Ltd. & entire Banks (199 Branches) data had to be merged with the existing
ICICI Bank's Finacle Software. I was appointed at the Technology Dept. for the data migration project for merger of the
Bank’s data from Foxpro system as well as from Manual data to Finacle System.
The key responsibilities handled during merger were :
Support & co-ordination for migration of ESBL branches to finacle.
Testing /Installation of Manual Data Entry package done for various ESBL manual Branches.
Co-ordination with ESBL Branches for Pre-migration preperation of Manual as well as Computerised
branches, so that the branches can be ready for the migration.
Imparted in-house training to the vendors & branch staff for manual data entry package.
Remote testing of data entry done by manual ESBL Branches.
Coordination with Network, Router & Commissioning Team for WAN connectivity and related issues (VSAT,
Leased Line) for all ESBL Branches.
The migration project was completed successfully within the time frame & was appreciated for the efforts for
the same.
After completion of the project, continued with Technology Dept.
