KS Visa Credit Cards and Insurance Project
Description
KS is the Front end processing system used by Scotia Bank.
Different Back end applications/channels like Branch
applications, Online banking, Point Of Service centers (like
retail shops), and ABMs interact with KS to retrieve/process
data from/to the branch. KS handles setting up customer
profiles (such as personal, combo, business, etc.), linking
delinking of accounts to the profiles, setting up new Credit
cards, processing financial transactions, Card maintenance
transactions (status or replacement), posting of transactions
and processing the statements for all the customers of Scotia
Bank. KS has approximately 4 production releases per year.
This requires opening a business account, maintaining the
account to Closure of the business account and testing of the
application to ensure the functionality of the application is
intact.
Also it deals with the offering of insurance package to the
customers along with the opening of account with the Bank.
It also deals with the verification of disclosures like
Application Disclosures and Agreement Disclosures which
are the heart of KS process.
Also deals with the Verification of Bundles and reports and
also the scheduling of Batches.
