2. SCIENCE NERDS AT MPS
ATL COMMUNITY
DAY CELEBRATION
"AzaadiSAT"
The school in collaboration with
NGO Sarthak Prayas organised an
interactive session for the
underprivileged students of the
NGO and community, to provide an
insight into the basics of artificial
intelligence, its goals and future
prospects.
The modernites got an
opportunity to be one
amongst 75 schools selected
across the country for the
historical mission
"azaadisat".
The kit provided to the
students gave them hands-
on learning experience in the
making and launching of a
satellite. The exposure
related to the research on
space will definitely remain
etched in the minds of the
students
3. Students used their
creativity at their best
to depict the microbial
world by making clay
models of microbes
and had hands on
experience to learn the
names and
characteristics of
microorganisms.
To discern about the insectivorous plants, the
students created hydraulic model of Venus Fly Trap,
showing the opening and closing of the trap with a
syringe and trapping the insect in it.
CLAY MODELLING
MAKING HYDRAULIC MODEL
The art and science of asking questions and
experimenting things is the source of all
knowledge
4. Geeky Scientists
AT WORK!
In our age of complicated
machinery, it’s easy to forget
that even the most
complicated mechanics are
just a large set of simple
machines.
Students made pulleys as a
fun science project to learn
about simple machines and
enjoyed engineering their own
solutions for lifting things using
a pulley.
"Making the
task easier"
“Let’s build a home for
our priceless birds”
Modernites attended a Nest Making
workshop 'Gift of home' on 21 April
2022 at Mount Abu Public School, in
association with Indraprastha
Schools Sahodaya and
Delhi Sahodaya
Schools. The enthusiasts
participated in making bird nests
using simple material with precision
and accuracy. The workshop was
enriched with learning and
engagement.
5. Students created beautiful pictures of
animals using leaves and finger
printing.
Designing with leaves encouraged
students to learn more about the
shapes of leaves. Printing with finger
tips and thumb was a wonderful
sensory experience for them.
This activity stimulated their
creativity and imagination. Learning
has been made more easier and
interesting by the inclusion of Art in
Environmental Studies.

6. HEALTHY HEARTY
Experiential Learning is the process of
learning by doing. By engaging students in
hands-on experiences and activities, they
are able to connect theories and knowledge
learned in the classroom to real-world
situations in a better way. Keeping this in
mind, we organized an activity on ‘health and
hygiene’, for the students of class I and II.
Students learnt how to brush and the
importance of cleaning hands in proper way.
They also learnt about our internal organs
with the help of a ‘model’. Students found it
easy to see, observe and learn about dental
hygiene.
Students actually learn the best, when they
experience something.

To inculcate good habits in the
students 'Trimming off nails ' activity
was organised for the students of
Class I on 27 April 2022. Students had
hands-on experience to trim paper
nails on the cutout of hand. The
activity was aimed to provide them
opportunity to develop into hygiene
conscious and independent citizens of
tomorrow.
