of women at workplace
Introduction
 Sexual harassment is unwelcome and
unwanted behaviour which could be
person feel offended.
 It is dangerous issue found at workplace.
 It is not mutually agreed.
Act:-
 Sexual harassment act 2013
 Passed by lok sabha on 3 september 2012
 Passed by rajya sabha on 26 february
2013
Sexual harassment include
 Unwanted bad touching or pinching
 Sexual teasing jokes,remarks question
 Whistling
 Touch the hair and cloths
 Any rumors spreads at workplace
Effect of sexual harassment in
organization and indivisual:-
 Decrease job satisfaction
 Decrease Image and goodwill of any
organization when complaints take the
issue to court
 Decrease in work and performance
 Loss of career and income
 Loss of reference
What not to do:-
 Do not blame your self for this-
 Do not delay
 don’t wait to seek help.
How to handle this:-
 Avoid being alone with harasser
 Keep records of all incident
 Talk about it trusted person
Conclusion:-
 At last sexual harassment is dangerous
and not good for health and mentally and
causes of depression. It is crime and
against the law.
