I am writing this recommend letter on the behalf Mr Deepak Gautam who is planning to pursue
his PhD in your university. Deepak is an outstanding graduate student of Institute of Forestry,
Nepal. Deepak has completed two years Masters Degree in Natural Resource Management and
Rural Development (NRMRD) in 2010 scoring 86.2% which is equivalent to GPA 4.0.
Deepak has accumulated a very long list of both academic honor/achievements and teaching
experiences. Deepak posses immense academic potential and will complete proposed study on
time. I mentored him as a Dean of the Institute as well as Senior Professor of Forest Management
and Economics. His performances in the field based as well as technical activities were brilliant.

program. I taught him during his study in bachelor of forestry at Institute of Forestry, Pokhara
Campus, Pokhara under Tribhuvan University.

Mr.Shankar Thapa was a regular student of session 2008-2012 at Institute of Forestry (IOF),
Pokhara Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I have known him since 2008 when he was my
student during bachelor level of study in Pokhara. Mr. Thapa successfully completed B.Sc. level
of study securing distinction (79.74%). As a professor, I know that he is one of the few students
