It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Mr Abhishek Jain who is
known to me for last two years as postgraduate student since 2012 and is applying to your esteemed
university to pursue higher studies. I have taken one course of Integrated Management of Water
Bodies offered to multidisciplinary students as part of Masters of technology programme
Environmental Management of Rivers and Lakes. I found him to be a hardworking and intelligent
student and he performed very well in all the subjects, too.
Abhishek is well versed in Environmental Chemistry related concepts such as: Chemical
Equilibrium, Ionic Equilibrium, Electro Chemistry, Redox Reactions, Acid Based etc. He
demonstrated strong biological background during his studies in Integrated Management of Water
Bodies especially on water quality and pollution related matter. He is also having good hands on
experience in water and soil quality analysis.
With his interdisciplinary approach and good command over English and Hindi language he has
been able to approach field problems differently. His GATE score after graduation has been very
high with 99.18 percentile thus demonstrating his intellectual and scholastic abilities.
He has aptitude for research as well as to learn and endeavor in new research and emerging areas. I
have also found him punctual, dynamic, diligent and very accommodative.
