This report presented a practice change strategy focused on a household related unsustainable practice. This practice is summarised in the increasing inefficiency in living space utilisation in Melbourne for a certain household sector, where large percentage of empty nesters choose to continue living in the same houses with the same space arrangement, though the structure of their families has changed. Reasons restraining many empty nesters from downsizing to smaller houses are varied, and they are driven by different social, physical and economical factors as highlighted in the report. To present the strategy, the report was divided into two main parts:

It concluded with highlighting the limitations of the strategy and the areas that need special concern.

Pesquisa divulgada, em junho de 2012, pela Federação Nacional dos Bancos (FEBRABAN), afirma que o Brasil tem cerca de 3,3 milhões de contas-correntes brasileiras cadastradas para acessarem o serviço de mobile banking. A expectativa da organização é que até 2017 esse número esteja em torno de 40 a 50 milhões. Influenciado por essa tendência e pela popularização dos dispositivos móveis e banda larga, o principal objetivo deste estudo é apresentar os padrões básicos para o desenvolvimento de interfaces mobile banking com alta performance em usabilidade e user experience. Tendo como embasamento teórico as heurísticas listadas por Jakob Nielsen, Steve Krug e Jenny Preece. Para isso foi realizado um teste de usabilidade com quatro usuários do mobile banking Itaú-Unibanco e quatro usuários do Banco do Brasil. Por meio de um levantamento sobre os padrões de usabilidade e do resultado do teste de usabilidade foi possível identificar que, embora as duas plataformas venham sendo utilizadas cada vez mais pelos usuários, existem algumas melhorias a serem realizadas para a adequação às diretrizes de boa usabilidade e melhor experiência aos usuários que utilizam este tipo de plataforma.
