 Assistant to 2-3 partners and 2-6 associates (exact number has varied during my
tenure at D&G); heavy document production (generation to completion); multi-
tasking through various computer programs – Carpe Diem, WestLaw searches,
Microsoft Outlook, RightFax, Power Point presentations, daily Internet usage,
general searches, travel and hotel reservations; direct client contact (domestic and
international [Germany, Japan]); dictation (speedwriting and direct to computer);
heavy phones; billing and collections from several of firm’s largest clients; rewriting
portions of contracts/agreements to improve content; scheduling/coordinating new
position interviews.
 Project coordinator for Early Interview Week (each spring/summer), a program
designed to introduce D&G to third-year law students with the goal of possible
recruitment after 3 years’ practice. The program is held at various law school
and/or city venues and requires extremely organized work with the individual
law schools as well as with firm attorneys.
Human Resources Assistant
2004 – 2006
 Coordinating new hires, supervising production of in-house office directory and
intranet listings. Managing time system (iNettime) for assistants, receptionists,
including scheduling of vacation/personal time, working with HR manager on
receptionists annual reviews. Insurance billing, various other office programs.
 Coordinating, planning and executing Staff Appreciation Day (April), Bring Your
Child to Work (May), Summer at the Zoo (July) and the staff holiday party
(December). Tasks involve managing budgets for each event, contact with
vendors, arranging for prizes, gift certificates, etc. for Staff Appreciation Day,
entertainment and food for Summer at the Zoo, arranging for in-house
speakers and activities for Bring Your Child to Work and researching and hiring
of restaurant and entertainment for holiday party.

 Administration and management of all corporate records and on-site minute
books. Responsible for the upgrade, maintenance and continuity of the firm’s
corporate database. Monthly contact with all department partners for
document form updates.
