Computing: Databases: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Access 2010 and
have worked many hours on Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
Security: Thesis research conducted on information security as well as
compliance with corporate, national and international security
standards e.g. ISO27001.
Networking: Extensive knowledge on Cisco iOS on routers, switches,
access points and phones. Up to date awareness of TCP/IP.
Server Management: Have worked on Windows Server 2008. Back to
back knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and Virtualisation
technologies
VoIP: Experience in setting up and maintaining VoIP telephone
network using routers, IP Communicator and Avaya/Cisco hard
phones
Virtualisation: Hyper V Managerment, Citrix, XenServer, XenCenter &
XenDesktop, System Center suite, VMWare Players & vSphere.
Team Working: Can work independently or part of a team. Able to motivate others
and get them working. Successfully led my FYP team in 3rd
Year to a
commendable grade.
Problem Solving: Able to quickly work out complicated problems on the spot. Figuring
out problems on user’s computers and attempting to fix them.
