1. Around the large site the existing
traditional concrete covers had
deteriorated over time and had
become un-
sightly and un-
safe. Concrete is
a porous
material and in
cold conditions
where trapped
water freezes the
concrete is liable
to cold crack. The site had faced
large annual maintenance and

complex routes of cable channels.

are an issue, concrete covers are
