4. STEP 2
• Identify and list all your different types of
audiences
• It would be best to use Stakeholder Analysis;
to help you identify who to communicate with
and why
6. STEP 3
• List out all your communication objectives and
make clear specific objects for each audience
• List all the objectives for each audience in
your plan
7. STEP 4
• List all your possible communication channels
• Try and create some new ones that you don’t
currently use
8. STEP 5
• To being planning for each audience, list out all
the largest audience groups first
• Several messages over a period of time may be
needed to meet the purpose of each audience
(Axero Solutions, 2016)
9. STEP 6
• ‘Prospects need to see your message seven
times before they buy’- a common saying in
marketing (Mindtools.com, 2016)
• Once you are satisfied you have thoroughly
thought out each audience and each of their
objectives; send out your communication
10. STEP 7
• Monitor the communications’ effectiveness
• Seek feedback on the communication plan
you have created and implemented
• Ask people from your different audiences how
the plan is going. Is it working? Yes/No
11. • By seeking proper feedback, you can modify
any future communication you have planned
to enhance people’s needs or fill any gaps
(Chau, 2016)
