Takealot is a South African online retailer, with over 800 employees. It was founded in 2002 under the name TAKE2. They have no brick and mortar
stores and sell all their products online that is delivered directly to their customer's doorstep. Takealot offers a variety of products ranging from Sport,
Home and Kitchen, Baby and Toddler, Electronics, Beauty, Movies and TV, Gaming, Books, Music, Toys and Import products. The brand was
re–launched as Takealot in June 2011 and currently the largest investors in Takealot are Tiger Global and Naspers.
